ALF-SI (MLI) is a vacuum-sealed multilayer insulating material created by alternately laminating and sewing together aluminum-coated film and spacers.

Comprising aluminum layers with high radiative properties and spacers with extremely low thermal conductivity and specific heat, this product is essential for insulating “liquid helium,” “liquid nitrogen,” and other materials in cryogenic equipment by preventing heat transfer from the outside.
